Mars is the world’s largest candy maker. Founded by her grandfather, Jacqueline Mars owns an estimated one-third of the company.

 

 

She spent nearly 20 years working for the company and served on board until 2016.
Stephen Badger, Jacqueline’s son, serves on Mars’ board of directors.
Jacqueline is a well-known philanthropist who serves on six boards including at the Smithsonian and the National Archives.
An estimated third of Mars is owned by her brother John. The rest is owned by her late brother Forrest Jr’s. four daughters.
Mars announced in June 2020 that it would rebrand Uncle Ben’s rice to Ben’s Original.
