SUPERBRANDS OF BANGLADESH REVEALED

Superbrands Bangladesh for the year 2018-2020 has been revealed through a grand award ceremony at Radisson BLU Water Garden, Dhaka on September 1. The award ceremony also marked the unveiling of Superbrands publication for the next two years. Kazi M. Aminul Islam, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) graced the award ceremony as the chief guest. 

Along with 29 brands from diverse industries, Bangladesh Apparel Sector was also honored as Superbrands Bangladesh for the next two-year period. Superbrands is a global media communications and publishing business which operates in 88 countries around the world. Launched in 1993, Superbrands has become the biggest success symbol for brands.

Superbrands are selected through a process, which involves independent and voluntary panels of experts from a range of backgrounds, known as the ‘Brand Council’. In Bangladesh, Superbrands for the year 2018-2020 were selected by the ‘Brand Council’ consisting of eminent brand experts. The signature publication, which shares stories of each Superbrand, is a coveted book for senior executives in advertising, marketing, brand management and media business. 

Also spoke on the occasion of Shariful Islam, the coordinator of Superbrands Bangladesh. He stated, “As Bangladesh steps into its next phase of progress and development, being part of global Superbrands and recognizing Bangladesh Superbrands will play a key role in our economic journey.”
