If you want to do the same, applying a residence visa would be the first step for you now.
Thai government is offering a special program for those who want to stay in Thailand for a longer-term. The Thai Elite Visa is an exceptional visa program offered by the Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited (TPC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tourism Authority of Thailand that gives all the foreigners a right to reside in Thailand on a long-term basis with some additional benefits. It’s the first program of its kind worldwide which is offering permitted residence for a long period with unrestricted complementary VIP privileges. To receive this special visa, foreigners must be a member of Thailand Elite.
The Thailand Elite Residence Program has three most program offers with validity, benefits and costs which are Elite Easy Access, Elite Privilege Access and Elite Ultimate Privilege. You can apply for Elite Easy Access which is a five year residence visa if you want to live a lavish life after your retirement. To get this visa you have to pay approximately USD 16,000. This visa has no annual fee and age restriction.
Elite Privilege Access will be the perfect option for you, if you have plan to get residence visa for your family. For the qualification you have to pay approximately USD 32,000 for yourself and USD 25,000 for each dependent. Dependents may include legitimate parents, step-parents, spouse, children and step-children. Elite Privilege Access has no annual fee or age restriction. You can get complimentary privileges including VIP transport services, government concierge services and one annual health checkup at a local private hospital with this 10 years residence visa.
If you plan to live in Thailand for a long-term and would prefer to own your own home, then go for Elite Ultimate Privilege. This is because it will provide you 20-year residence visa by paying approximately USD 68,000, plus an annual fee of approximately USD 680 to the Thai real estate. To apply for this program you have to be aged 20 years or older. You’ll also get complimentary privileges including VIP assistant services, VIP lounge access, golf and spa treatments for 24 times per year, one annual health checkup at a local private hospital with immigration, driver’s license and work permit as government concierge services.
This Elite visa will not give you a chance to get a high standard living with a low cost but also will provide tax benefits, an Elite personal assistant and a 24 hour member call center that operates in different languages.
