JCI Dhaka West Organizes Dental Camp

JCI Dhaka West in partnership with IFMSA Bangladesh organized a day-long “Dental Camp” for the people of JCI Suburban Community in Kalatia, Keraniganj. The documentation partner was The Gallery. This was the first ever dental camp in that area and it served about 300 people. The local community leaders and members along with the Local Chairman of Kalatia, Taher Ali was present in the camp. The idea behind the camp received positive feedback and there are plans for monthly expansion. Borton Everill, the JCI Global Vice President Rochelle along with Erfan Haque, National Vice President, and Shahedul Azam, Project committee chair, also visited the camp and were happy to see such an initiative launched by JCI Dhaka West. The president of JCI Dhaka West Mehedi Hossain commented, “We have started our project “Healthy Living” in JCI Suburban Community with this Dental Camp. We have a plan of having six different camps focusing on six different health issues and therefore trying to ensure a healthy living for the community people.”
