Dhaka Bank Crosses the 22 Year Milestone

Dhaka Bank Limited recently observed its 22 years of successful operation through a series of activities. As a part of the celebrations, milad and doa mahfil was arranged at its Corporate Office along with all the branches of the Bank. Moreover, a Blood Donation program was organized in association with the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation at the Corporate Office. Reshadur Rahman, Chairman of Dhaka Bank Limited graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The Bank also handed-over cheques to SEID (a specialized school for special children) and Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility. Moreover, the Bank formally inaugurated ‘Dhaka Bank Electrical Engineering Lab’ of UCEP Institute of Science & Technology (UIST) – a concern of UCEP Bangladesh. It is mentionable that the Bank donated Tk.30 Lac to UIST in August 2016 for establishing this high-end engineering laboratory. In addition to the above, the Bank also launched four new digital services namely, Dhaka Bank Go (mobile app), Dhaka Bank Trade Cloud (online LC processing portal), Dhaka Bank Direct (internet banking) and Dhaka Bank LiveChat (real-time chat-box for customer query).

Director, Mohamad Hanif; Founder & Former Adviser, Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed along with Former Directors Khondoker Mohammad Shahjahan and Rakhi Das Gupta; and Managing Director & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman were present at the event. The Bank’s Additional Managing Director, Emranul Huq along with Deputy Managing Directors, namely, Khan Shahadat Hossain, Md. Shakir Amin Chowdhury, Mohammad Abu Jafar and Company Secretary, Arham Masudul Huq and employees of all levels were also present.
