bKash signed a tri-party agreement with Bangladesh Home Economics College (BHEC) and BRAC Bank to enable around 2000 students of BHEC to pay all types of fees through bKash. They can pay their fees through bKash app and USSD code *247* and also through the bKash payment gateway available on the website of BHEC. To launch the service, Professor M Anwar Hossain, Chairman of the Governing Bodies of BHEC, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Head of Corporate Banking Division of BRAC Bank and M Mazedul Islam, Head of Legal & Company Secretary of bKash signed the agreement on behalf of their organizations at the campus of BHEC. Other high officials were also present at the event.
