Regency Hospitality Training Institute is taking a giant leap forward by Partnering with America Hotel and Lodging Education Institute AHELI as the only Global Academic Partner GAP Institute in Bangladesh with a grand opening ceremony at the Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.

Established in 1953, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) is the training and education arm of the American Hotel & Lodging Association AHLA, one of the finest nonprofit member benefits of AH&LA, is the premier source for delivering quality hospitality education, training and professional certification that serves the needs of hospitality schools and industries worldwide.

22 March 2018, Her Excellency Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, Ambassador of  U.S.A to Bangladesh graced the ceremony as the chief guest and announced the formal launching of the partnership  at the celebration hall of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort. Mr. Akhtaruz Zaman Khan Kabir, Chairman Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation chaired the ceremony as the special guest for the evening. This event was hosted by Mr. Shahid Hamid FIH Chief Advisor RHTi and Executive Director Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort along with Kabir Reza, Managing Director, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.

Dignitaries from over the hospitality and tourism industry, Hotel brand owners; General Managers from the biggest hotel brand names and respected educators from around the country were present at the ceremony to appreciate the initiative and expressed their immense interest to work together in future professional and skill development project in the hospitality industry.
