Le Méridien Dhaka appoints Constantinos S. Gavriel as New General Manager

Constantinos S. Gavriel has recently been appointed as the new General Manager of Le Méridien Dhaka, an award winning luxury 5 star flagship property located near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with 304 rooms, including 25 suites and the largest presidential suite in the country.

Gavriel brings with him over 24 years wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his illustrious career as a business development executive at The Kensington Hilton in London, UK and has held various positions within Marriott since 2011. He has also previously worked for the Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts in 2003 and is familiar with the rich cultural heritage of the brand.

After almost 14 years in London, United Kingdom, Gavriel, had his first taste of working overseas in the Middle East as cluster director of sales and marketing for Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in Riyadh, which includes the spectacular and ultra-luxury Al Faisaliah Hotel designed by Lord Foster. Since leaving Saudi Arabia Gavriel has worked in Abu Dhabi the capital of The UAE, Russia and Kazakhstan.

Prior to joining Le Méridien Dhaka, Gavriel was General Manager of The Renaissance Aktau Hotel, Kazakhstan.

Gavriel, a British national holds a BSc (Hons) degree in International Hotel Management from The University of North London in The United Kingdom.
