JCI Dhaka West conducted Member’s Induction 2017 and Chain Handover Ceremony

Recently the newly recruited general members of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Dhaka West started their fun-filled journey with the organization through an Induction Ceremony at a hotel in Dhaka with the rest of the existing members, along with the current President Md. Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan.

JCI Dhaka West is a chapter of JCI Bangladesh. JCI is a worldwide membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens’ aged 18 to 40 who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. Through projects in 5,000 communities across more than 135 countries, members seek targeted solutions to local problems, creating a global impact.

The induction started with an exciting ice- breaking activities and group works. It was followed through insights about JCI’s achievements globally and nationally. The new members are a valuable addition to expand and improve the activities of JCI West. Later that day, 2000 National President Senator Nessar Maksud Khan and 2005 National President Senator Safina Rahman joined the ceremony to enlighten the new members about the goals and vision of JCI. They also handed over the President’s chain to the current president Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan.

JCI Bangladesh National President Senator Ahmed A Rahman, Immediate Past National President Senator Shakawat Hossain Mamun, Treasurer Sumon Howlader, National Director Sakib Ahmed and Chair of JCI Bangladesh International Affairs Rumana Chowdhury were also present to elevate the morale of the members. The day became more productive when the members shared their ideas regarding ventures of social betterment. The induction ceremony ended with remarks from the COC of the event Shaheen Ismail Mona.
