JCI Dhaka West celebrated the Earth Day with ‘Tree Plantation, Tree Plant Donation & Environment Awareness Creation Campaign’ at Keraniganj

JCI Dhaka West has successfully organized the third intervention of “Go Green Bangladesh” ‘Tree Plantation, Tree Plant Donation&Environment Awareness Creation Campaign’ on April29, 2017 at Kolatia, Keraniganj. The mantra was “Let’s create a better environment for the future generation.” Earlier JCI Dhaka West had arranged a ‘Green Dialogue’ with Greenman at EMK Center and ‘Seashore Cleaning Campaign’ at Cox’s Bazar.

It was a half day event and more than 15 volunteers joined the event to make it successful. Around 150 children of Kolatia High School have participated in this event. Sustainable World Development Project (SWDP), supporting partner of ‘Go Green Bangladesh’ has arranged an environment awareness session. After the session JCI Dhaka West ensured plantation of 100 tree plants by the students.

Media partner of this event was ‘ICE Business Times’ and Videography partner was ‘Maze Productions’. JCI Dhaka West has an interest to perform several tree plantation events and to run several cleaning campaign in all the main tourist spots around the country throughout the year.
