Citibank, N.A., Bangladesh recently organized an event titled “Electronic Banking Solutions for Citi Bangladesh: Leading Cash Management Practices to New Horizons” for its clients. The event, a part of the bank’s “Client Experience Week”, highlighted Citi’s leadership position in country’s continuously evolving Cash Management landscape through the bank’s capability to leverage its robust electronic banking platform CitiDirect BE®.
This year, Oct 03 – Oct 07 was declared as Citi’s Client Experience Week globally, where Citibankers engaged with clients through various initiatives in order to demonstrate commitment towards improving client experience at all levels of organization.
The event from Citi Bangladesh saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 attendees from 25 clients. Mr. Md. Moinul Huq, Citibank’s Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of promoting interaction between the bank and clients’ operational teams to achieve the desired level of operational excellence.
Mr. Sajedul Islam, Head of Markets & Acting Citi Country Officer, expressed his optimism that “this event will enable our clients to provide their valuable suggestions on how Citi can further improve clients’ experiences”.
There were separate sessions in the event, giving insights into Citi’s Payments & Collection product offerings, significant recent upgrades in CitiDirect BE® including reporting features, java-free screens and MobilePass, and relevant Global Best Practices. Citi’s seasoned subject matter experts from relevant areas conducted each session.
The sessions were followed by a Q&A and discussions, which saw vibrant interaction between clients and the bank officials. The client representatives appreciated the initiative from Citi to promote dialogue on contemporary pertinent issues which will have significant impact on the banking industry in the future. Khaled Aziz, Head of Operations & Technology expressed his appreciation to the clients for their valuable time and active participation in the event.
