MARK OF EXCELLENCE: JCI awards Ten Young Outstanding Persons

The Junior Chamber International Bangladesh awarded ten young people of Bangladesh for their remarkable accomplishments in their separate fields in the 2019 version of The JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Bangladesh (JCI TOYP). In an occasion titled “TOYP 2019” held at Hotel Radisson Dhaka on 18 September 2019, the willful association perceived the accomplishments of ten people in eight distinct classifications which are Business, economic, and entrepreneurial accomplishment, Political, legal, and governmental affairs, Cultural achievement, Environmental leadership, World peace, and human rights, Technological development, Personal accomplishment and woman leadership, Medical innovation etc.

The list of the ten extraordinary young people included Ahmed Shayan Fazlur Rahman, executive of Beximco Group, one of the nation’s biggest corporations. He has been granted for exceptional commitment to pioneering achievement. The list likewise included Cartoonist Abdullah Al Morshed, who is additionally the Founder of Global Happiness Challenge, Dr. Asraful Hoque Sium, Unit Chief of Assistant Professor and Resident Surgeon at Department Of Cardiac Surgery, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, MP, commander of the nation’s One Day International cricket crew, Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury MP, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Director, Badsha Group of Industries, Nusrat Faria, famous media character and model, Salman Karim, Managing Director of Confidence Infrastructure Limited, Tahmina Mostafa, Director, Meghna Group of Industries, and Tanvir A Mishuk, Managing Director of Nagad.

Among those presented with awards were Abdullah AI Morshed for his exceptional commitment in world peace and human rights, Dr. Asraful Hoque Sium for medical development and innovation, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza for sports, Mohibul Islam Chowdhury for political accomplishment, Mohiuddin Ahmed for environmental leadership, Nusrat Faria for outstanding cultural achievement, Salman Karim for business, economic and entrepreneurial accomplishments, Tahmina Mostafa for women leadership, and Tanvir A. Mishuk for technological advancement.

Jaitya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury MP attended the program as the Chief Guest and handed over the awards to the 10 outstanding young persons for their contributions to different sectors.

JCI intends to advance the possibility of socially mindful initiative in the nation by recognizing youngsters, who exceed expectations in their chosen fields and are making positive changes in society.

Junior Chamber International, a more commonly known JCI, is a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people between the ages of 15 and 40. JCI boasts members in around 124 countries.
