The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global business network with an impressive 14,000+ leading entrepreneurs in 195 chapters in 62 countries. The network was founded in 1987. It is a learning platform which enables business owners to learn from each other, which helps facilitate greater business success along with an enriched personal life.
EO supports leading entrepreneurs in all corners of the world. Chapters provide EO members with a local resource to learn and grow, including access to executive-education events, networking opportunities and mentorship programs. EO chapters also help strengthen the global business landscape by partnering with local businesses and encouraging job growth. The EO Bangladesh chapter was established in 2016 and has since successfully recruited 30 members who are industry leaders in their respective sectors.
As a global network, EO educates, transforms, inspires and offers invaluable resources in the form of global events, leadership-development programs, an online entrepreneur forum and executive education opportunities, among other offerings designed for personal and professional growth. At its core, EO is a collection of like-minded entrepreneurs focused on business growth, personal development and community engagement.
There are five core values which drive the platform. Cool defines their approach, attitude and experiences. The members are not afraid to Make a Mark, be it challenging conventions to build value, to make a difference or to leave a legacy. Members are risk-takers who Boldly Go and take up challenges, celebrate failures and successes by sharpening their innate instinct born out of courage, creativity and eternal optimism. The next core value is more of a code of conduct; Trust and Respect permeate every facet of Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Lastly, a Thirst for Learning is paramount for aspiring members, because as a peer-to-peer learning platform, knowledge is the coveted commodity. Read on to find out from EO members Hossain Khaled, Managing Director of Anwar Group, Tahsin Aman, Chairman of AYAT Education and Farzanah Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance on how their EO memberships have enabled them to lead by example and consistently strive to drive the entrepreneur spirit.
