Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh hosted Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Award, 2020. JCI’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) award honors ten incredible young leaders under the age of 40 each year. These individuals exemplify the spirit of the JCI Mission and have extraordinary accomplishments in the development of society.
The award recognized achievements in various categories such as Business, Economic, and/or Entrepreneurial Accomplishment, Political, Legal, and/or Governmental Affairs, Academic Leadership and/or Accomplishment, Personal Improvement and/or Accomplishment, Medical Innovation, Cultural Achievement and Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership, etc.
On 14th November, 2020 the event commenced at a 5 Star Hotel in the capital. A K Abdul Momen, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Nahim Razzaq, MP graced the event as Special Guest.
2020 TOYP Awaredees are Sheikh Tonmoy, Shams Mahmud, Safwan Sobhan, Siddikur Rahman, Akbar Ali, Hridoy Khan, Ayman Sadiq, Tanvir Ahmed, Nobonita Chowdhury & Reazul Kabir.
JCI is a global organization of young leaders aged 18-40 who are dedicated to creating the positive change they wish to see in themselves and the world. The community has more than 150,000 active members in 105 countries. JCI Bangladesh every year takes the initiative in recognizing the contribution of youth in the society.
