CONVINCE, A platform created by JCI Dhaka West, was not merely a mission to introduce young professionals to the tools required to make positive change, but it was also a completely new perspective into how leaders are made, something which new professionals often fail to grasp initially. The 4th version of the program, Convince 4.0, took place recently at Long Beach Hotel Dhaka.
JCI Dhaka West grabbed the bull by the horn, metaphorically speaking, and welcomed Graham Moore, highly acclaimed professional speaker, trainer and executive coach. He is an accredited Genos ™ Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and Coach, and in 2009, he was independently assessed to be in the top 1% of facilitators worldwide for delivering learning effectiveness.
Over fifty participants from various corporate houses took part in the workshop specifically designed for them to understand “How Ordinary People become Extra-Ordinary Leaders”. Leadership skills are very important to such individuals especially at the start of their career where it can aid them in taking control of their professional lives as well as bring positive change in their environment. The trainer shared brilliant examples of leadership done right, conveyed the magnitude of the responsibilities given to a leader as well the tools necessary to carry them out. CONVINCE 4.0 was informative, engaging and an excellent addition to the CONVINCE program.
The program ended with Certification Handover ceremony by Graham Moore and a photo session.
JCI Dhaka West is a chapter of JCI Bangladesh. JCI is a worldwide membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens ages 18 to 40 who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. Through projects in 5,000 communities across more than 100 countries, members seek targeted solutions to local problems, creating a global impact.
