On 14 October 2021, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a tree distribution program was organized by the LankaBangla Foundation at the head office of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) near Gulshan. Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation Md. Selim Reza and Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Md. Jobaidur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Lankabangla Finance Ltd. initiated the program. Lt. Col. Md. Golam Mostafa Sarwar, Deputy Chief Health Officer, Dhaka North City Corporation was also present along with other senior officials of both the organizations; Health Officer Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque and Board Secretary and Head of Regulatory Affairs of Lankabangla Finance Ltd. Mostafa Kamal, Mohammad Hafiz Al Ahad, Head of Human Resources, Muhammad Habib Haider, Head of General Infrastructure and Services were also present.
