‘Best of Bangladesh’ showcases the country’s potential in Europe.

Best of Bangladesh is a nation-branding initiative that unveils the remarkable progress and potential of Bangladesh on a global platform. The event facilitates exhibitions, business networking and panel discussions, and dialogue among industry leaders, policymakers, stakeholders, incrementally solidifying Bangladesh as a potential investment destination. Best of Bangladesh is also a singular event where the transformative potential of emerging industries on the country’s economy and its entrepreneurs’ commitment to ethical sourcing, responsible manufacturing, and social compliance can be discovered.

This year marked the second edition of Best of Bangladesh. The two-day event was organised by the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), and powered by PDS Limited in association with The City Bank PLC, Bangladesh, and KDS Group, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

Forty Bangladeshi companies across 8 emerging industries participated in Best of Bangladesh. Through 5 panel discussions and presentations from more than 40 speakers, the event offered valuable insights into the promise and potential of Bangladeshi industries. Around 1500 visitors from more than 32 countries attended the event.

One of the highlights of the show was the Fashion Runway, organised as part of a promotion for Bangladeshi manufacturing industries. The Fashion runway showcased the capability of the Bangladesh apparel industry in innovation, sustainability, as well as in product design and development.

Shin Shin Group, Pacific Knit Division, Team Group and CentroText Group presented their latest products on the ramp at the iconic Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs Van Berlage in front of European representatives of fashion brands and retailers. Each product on the ramp displayed a balance of fashion, progressive environmental responsibility, and the standards for what the future of fashion should be – beautiful, expressive, and consciously made. These innovative products proudly sporting the “Made in Bangladesh” tag not only represented the new Bangladesh as a major export-earning sector but a trendsetter rather than a follower.

Mostafiz Uddin, Founder & CEO of BAE, and the man behind the branding vision of Best of Bangladesh in the heart of Europe, shared his enthusiasm and said, “Best of Bangladesh has profoundly elevated our position in the international market. It is an outstanding opportunity for Bangladeshi businesses to showcase innovation and engage with key stakeholders, fostering partnerships that drive economic growth.”

“As we celebrate the achievements of Best of Bangladesh 2025, the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange extends its heartfelt thanks to all exhibitors, sponsors, and partners who contributed to the event’s success. This gathering was not just an exhibition; it was a vital catalyst for transformation within our trade landscape,” he added.
