On 2 February 2018, JCI Dhaka West organized their 2nd General Member’s Meeting (GMM) at Ascott Hotel in Baridhara Diplomatic Area. The GMM was chaired by the Local President of JCI Dhaka West, Mehedi Hossain.
The GMM saw various project presentation which focuses on Women Empowerment, Vision Impairment and Mental Health. Throughout the year, JCI Dhaka West will conduct several activities focusing on such issues. Subah Afrin, was appointed as the Chair of Diversity and Equity committee and will solely work on Gender equality, women empowerment and development.
The National President of JCI Bangladesh Fayaz Atiqul Islam was present during the GMM along with the national directors Arman Khan and Ziaul Haque. Besides, the Assistant to the Global President, Rumana Chowdhury was also present in the GMM.
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is worldwide leadership organization for young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in 110 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world. JCI Dhaka West is a local chapter of JCI Bangladesh and actively works towards the development of young active citizens.
