Mamoon Mahmood Shah, Managing Director and
CEO (CC) of NRB Bank Limited, and Ahmad Raquib,
General Manager of Sara Resort a sister concern of
Fortis Group Limited has exchanged documents after
signing an agreement at Bank’s Corporate Head
Office, Dhaka on 20 October 2020 on behalf of
respective organizations. Under the agreement, Debit
and Credit Cardholders of NRB Bank Limited will get a
25% discount on a room at Sara Resort. Md. Khurshed
Alam, Deputy Managing Director of NRB Bank Limited,
A K M Kamal Uddin, Head of ICCD, Mir Shafiqul
Islam, Head of Card Division, and Mahira Habib,
Head of Business Development and Corporate Sales of
Sara Resort were also present on the occasion.

Standard Chartered Bangladesh partnered with
OBHIZATRIK Foundation on 17 October 2020 to
distribute fresh food packages consisting of organic
fruits and vegetables to serve the immediate needs
of distressed communities in Dhaka and Chittagong.
Under the initiative, the food packages will reach
40,000 families, supporting 200,000 direct
beneficiaries. The produce will be sourced directly
from 200 rural smallholder firms, sustaining
employment for around 2000 workers.

Standard Chartered has teamed up with ‘Aamartaka’,
incorporated as Power Ride Services Ltd, as its first Third Party
Sales (TPS) partner in Bangladesh. Under this agreement
Aamartaka will act as an authorized sales agent, working with the
bank in engaging with a wider client-base in the digital space.
Lutful Habib, General Manager, Priority Banking, Deposits &
Mortgages, and Md. Mahmud Al Maruf Toufiq, CEO, Aamartaka
signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations
on 20 October 2020 at Aamartaka office premises. Nazim Farhan
Chowdhury, Director, Aamartaka and Sabbir Ahmed, Head of
Retail Banking, Bangladesh; Tawfique Imam, Head, Unsecured
Product (CCPL); Saadi Manzoorul Huq, Senior Product Manager,
Personal Loans; Mir Mozaffer Hossain, Head, Business Risk
Management; Zakiul Hoque, Head Client Acquisition, all from
Standard Chartered were also present at the signing ceremony.

An MoU has been signed between NRBC
Bank Ltd and NCC Bank Ltd for inward
foreign remittance distribution
partnership on 18 October 2020. Under
the MoU, NRBC Bank Ltd will provide
services of Prabhu Money Transfer (USA)
and Merchantrade (Malaysia) through all
of its branches, sub-branches, and agent
points across the country. NRBC Bank's
Managing Director & CEO - Md. Mukhter
Hossain and NCC Bank's Managing
Director & CEO (C.C) - Khondoker
Nayeemul Kabir along with some other
high officials were present at the
occasion.
