AB Bank Limited has become the first among
BANKING this agreement all the branches of AB Bank will
all private banks to sign an agreement on
Automated Challan System (ACS) with
Bangladesh Bank on 2 August 2021. Under
collect Passport Fees, VAT, Tax and other Govt.
fees. The agreement was signed by Md. Forkan
Hossain, General Manager, Bangladesh Bank
and Sajjad Hussain, President and Managing
Director (Current Charge), AB Bank Limited in
the presence of Ahmed Jamal, Deputy
Governor of Bangladesh Bank. A.K.M
Mohiuddin Azad, Executive Director of
Bangladesh Bank and other senior officials of
both the organizations were also present.
Bank Asia donated Tk. 50 Lac to Sena
Kalyan Sangstha for the welfare of the
people affected by the pandemic on.

26 August 2021 at SKS Tower,

other high officials from both
organizations were also present.
The United Nations Economic and Social
Commission for Asia and the Pacific
(ESCAP) and the United Nations Capital
Development Fund (UNCDF) with partners
FMO, Visa, and the Government of
Canada have announced the winners of
the Women Enterprise Recovery Fund on 8
August 2021. BRAC Bank was named a
winner among the 10 recipients of the
fund in the Asia-Pacific region. The
winners include technology providers,
FinTechs, and commercial banks and will
receive financial and technical support
over the next 12 months to pilot and test
their innovations.

exchanged documents at a signing ceremony
between two organizations which took place at
Shams Bhaban, Bashundhara R/A on 2 August
2021. Under this agreement, employees of the
Shams Group are entitled to Dhaka Bank’s
products and services on preferential terms which
allow employees of the group to choose from a
wide range of financial products from profit
bearing accounts, loans (secured/unsecured) to
credit cards (local/International) etc. Saturday
banking helps employees to avail banking
services after office hours.
