                      A fresh new palette adorns the country’s leading paint

                    Ahsan officially pairs up as the Ambassador for its Luxury
                        Silk Product. An event held on 15 July 2021 with the
                    from Berger, has sealed the news that Jaya is going to be
                     associated as Berger’s Luxury Silk Product face in various
                    campaigns, engagement sessions, and other promotional

                                                                    Vaccination of garment workers in Gazipur started on 18
                                                                    July 2021. The vaccination program was inaugurated at
                                                                    Tusuka Denim Ltd at Konabari in Gazipur. A total of
                                                                    10,000 garment workers from four factories have been
                                                                    vaccinated against Covid-19 on the first day of the
                                                                    vaccination program. The factories are: Sparrow Apparels
                                                                    Ltd, Rose Sweaters Ltd, Tusuka Denim Ltd and Tusuka
                                                                    Trousers Ltd. BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, Gazipur
                                                                    City Corporation Mayor Md. Jahangir Alam, Bangladesh
                                                                    Country Manager for Marks and Spencer Shwapna
                                                                    Bhowmick, Gazipur Civil Surgeon Md. Khairuzzaman,
                                                                    Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur SM Tariqul Islam and
                                                                    CARE Bangladesh's Country Director Ramesh Singh were
                                                                    present at the program.


                 Like previous year, many charity organizations have
                 been receiving donations through bKash to help the
                    underprivileged celebrate their Eid festival amid
                  pandemic. bKash users can contribute to their Eid
                celebration through donation while staying at home.
                 Besides, bKash customers can remain engaged with
               various humanitarian activities throughout the year. So
              far, 8.75 lakh customers have donated BDT 29 crore to
                 60 organizations which are helping underprivileged
                    people to combat the financial crisis during the
              pandemic. bKash added a 'Donation' icon to its app so
              that people can extend their hands to help the people in
               need while staying at home during the pandemic. This
                  initiative has enhanced the capacity of the charity
                 organizations to collect donations and enabled the
                         customers to donate more conveniently.




                                                                        The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and
                                                                        Grameenphone Ltd collaborated to mark the World Youth
                                                                        Skills Day by organizing a virtual event titled "Get Future
                                                                        Ready: Need for Skills" on 15 July 2021 to raise
                                                                        nationwide awareness and take action to support the
                                                                        nation's need for upskilling youth. Attending the "Get
                                                                        Future Ready: Need for Skills" webinar as the chief guest
                                                                        was Planning Minister MA Mannan. Yasir Azman, CEO,
                                                                        Grameenphone Ltd, presented the keynote paper on "Get
                                                                        Future Ready". Anir Chowdhury, Policy Advisor of a2i
                                                                        moderated the panel discussion. Dulal Krishna Saha,
                                                                        Executive Chairman, NSDA (Secretary), Prime Minister's
                                                                        Office, Md. Mashiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, National
                                                                        University, Rasheda K Choudhury, Executive Director,
                                                                        CAMPE, Lotte Kejser, Chief Technical Adviser, ILO
                                                                        Bangladesh, also spoke during the discussion.
