Bank Asia has launched “AML & CFT-PF

BRAC Bank has announced three winners from the
first batch of students of the country's first SME
accelerator programme, Uddokta 101 on 29 July
2021. The winners are Farhana Rahman (Owner,
Diva's World), Misha Mahjabeen (CEO, Healthy
Bengal), and Khaleda Sultana (CEO, Jutemart).
'Uddokta 101' is the country's first accelerator
programme for SMEs that BRAC Bank launched
jointly with the University of Dhaka.

City Bank has entered into an agreement
with IFC to participate in the Global Trade
Finance Program (GTFP) as a confirming
bank on 27 July 2021. With this, City Bank
has become the first bank in Bangladesh to
participate in the program as a confirming
bank. Sheikh Mohammad Maroof,
Additional Managing Director of City Bank,
and Rosy Khanna, IFC Regional Industry
Director, Financial Institutions Group – Asia
and Pacific, signed this milestone
agreement.
