A glimpse into Porcelaina’s journey so far
Porcelaina is the pioneer of colourful dinnerware in Bangladesh. The colour, variety, and design of Porcelaina products are on par with world-class standards and have astonished consumers in the local market.
Porcelaina began its journey from the inception of an idea. During the mayhem created by the COVID-19 epidemic that caused the world to come at a standstill, two creative minds identified an opportunity to present something unique and vibrant with the potential to enrich people’s behaviour and lifestyle. They diligently pursued this vision, and in 2020, introduced Porcelaina, a high-end collection of ceramic tableware. The minds behind Porcelaina are Abir Morshed and Salman Morshed Akash, sons of Md. Morsheduzzaman Ruman, the current chairman of Gramsico. The two brothers were inspired by their father to create the high-end collection of ceramic tableware. To realise their vision, they worked with a team of talented individuals including Md. Shahiduzzaman Jinnah, son of Gramsico Managing Director Md. Asaduzzaman, and the younger son of Chairman Mohsin Abrar. The team has combined their thoughts, efforts, and passion to bring Porcelaina to the Bangladeshi market, and are boldly pushing forward to take their product beyond the border.
Porcelaina started out online and has now expanded to more than 12 locations around Bangladesh. In addition, they created Porcelaina Home in 2022 – a company that offers home décor goods and services. Porcelaina invites everyone to the experience zone and enjoy its luxurious environment spread across 10,000 square feet. Porcelaina Home has been an achievement on its own, made possible by strong leadership and consistency in upholding the brand’s goals and visions.
Aiming to improve consumer behaviour towards ceramic household products, Porcelaina always strives to capture artistic elements and emotions. The brand has therefore partnered with Tahsan Rahman Khan to share its message.
