First public app consultation a success

To fast track the country’s mobile app development, MobioApps, one the country’s top app-producing company, has recently organised a public app consultation programme, ‘Fresh Air’, on its office premises. Asraf-ul-Jubair, a senior business analyst of the company, said people from different backgrounds, including professionals, gathered at the office of MobioApps to share their ideas about new apps during the consultation programme.
MobioApps is a sister concern of Datasoft Ltd, the largest software house of the country, and it focuses solely on the development of mobile apps. “Mobile apps are the future and people seek new ones consantly. So MobioApps has decided to include the regular laymen to get an insight into the sort of app they want,” said Jubair.
Mahadi Abdur Rauf, a doctor, visited the open consultation to share ideas about an app. “I want to open a pizza delivery unit for which I need an app that divers at night. People can order customised pizza using the app and track their delivery man in real time, much like the famous ‘uber’ app.I came here to know how and for what price such apps could be developed,” he said. Nihad Ferdous, a banker, wanted an app for personal financial assistance. ‘We have many online marketplaces these days. I want an app which will suggest the best offers on similar articles in all such marketplaces,’ he said.
Assalutazzaman, a senior business analyst of a software firm, visited the event for a large enterprise-level RMG management app while some others wanted gaming and connectivity apps. MobioApp MD Palash said the first consultation programme was immensely successful. ‘We wanted to interact with people to develop apps that would actually help them to do things. People in Bangladesh do not usually use their smart phones to the fullest capacity.
Business and office work can be done through smart phones. One just needs appropriate apps for such purposes,’ he said. ‘The consultation programme has given MobioApps a fair idea about the apps that people want. MobioApp will continue to develop and to arrange such consultations. Keep an eye on our website or facebook page to see the date and time for the next consultation,’ he invited.
