Accenture, an Irish consultancy, tech services and outsourcing company working in Dhaka, has announced the termination of all of their 556 employees in the city.
The mass lay-off was announced on July 18 as the company will close down its operations in Bangladesh from November this year.
Accenture entered Bangladesh by acquiring 51% shares of the Grameenphone’s IT subsidiary in 2014 and later renamed as ‘Accenture Communications and Infrastructure Solutions Limited’.
