As a part of Care for Community Program, The Westin Dhaka had arranged a Charity Run on October 12. The aim of this event was to raise social awareness for the unprivileged community. The same event was held at the same date in 60 locations across the Asia pacific in different properties. The event included a run program where senior management, invited guests, corporate officials of The Westin Dhaka and Gulshan Joggers’ club members participated.
As a part of the program Westin Management raised a fund and donated it to a Charity organization- Ashic Foundation, A shelter for helpless ill children. To support this volunteer event Media Personality Emon, Safa Kabir and Tawsif participated along with the Westin Management. Li & Fung, Pepsi, Europa was the event partner.
