On April 6 2018, JCI Dhaka West held their 3rd General Member’s Meeting (GMM) at Royal Park Residence Hotel located at Banani, Dhaka. The GMM was chaired by Mehedi Hossain, the Local President of JCI Dhaka West.
The GMM started off by reciting the JCI Mission, Vision and Creed. After the commencement, Local President of JCI Dhaka West Mehedi Hossain along with other board Members and project leads shared the activity report and project updates of JCI Dhaka West. Concerned members briefed about their projects as well as all the events that have been carried out so far. Six of the members were awarded for their relentless effort in the first quarter of the year 2018. Naseef Zaki and Shifat Ul Hoque Sonnet received award of Excellence while Kuhely Hossain and Sabbir Siddiqui were awarded as the most promising members. Other awardees were- Taha Yeasin Ramadan as the most outstanding member, Momena Jalil as the most impactful member, Farhan Aziz Choudhury as the most aspiring member and Fahimul Islam as the most visible member.
Furthermore, Shifat Ul Hoque Sonnet was announced as the lead for Project Steps, a project that invokes critical thinking, enhances presentation skills and encourages positive thinking among the young individuals of Bangladesh by means of debates.
Apart from JCI Dhaka West members, distinguished members of JCI Bangladesh including Past National President and Past World Vice President, Senator Waqar Choudhury, National President Fayaz Atiqul Islam, National Vice President Erfan Haque, and National Training Director Md. Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan graced the meeting with their presence.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is worldwide leadership organization for young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in 110 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world.
