Bangladesh signed an
agreement on 9 December
2019 at IUB Campus. The
agreement was signed by
Emranul Huq, Managing

Dhaka Bank Limited and
Khandker Md. Iftekhar
Haider, Treasurer of
Independent University,
Bangladesh on behalf of the
respective organizations.

NRB Commercial Bank Limited formally
launched its 74th Branch at Kazi SuperMarket,
Bangla Bazar, Uttar Joynagar, Daulotkhan,
Bhola on 24 December 2019. Honorable
Member of Parliament Bhola-1 and former
Industry and Commerce Minister Alhajj Tofail
Ahmed inaugurated the Branch as chief guest.

Under the initiative and financing of
the Jamuna Bank Foundation, free
medical, diabetes, dental care and
blankets were distributed at the
KusumpurJagorani Songsod Ground
at Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj on 15
December 2019. Al-Haj Nur
Mohammed, Chairman of the
Jamuna Bank Foundation and
Jamuna Bank Executive Committee
was present as the chief guest at the
event. The program was chaired by
Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing
Director & CEO of Jamuna Bank.
