Dhaka, 28 October 2025: Mr. Md. Abdul Mutaleb has been appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) from 21st October 2025.
Mr. Mutaleb is a seasoned ICT professional with over 37 years of experience in the financial sector, specializing in depository services, stock market operations, and technology infrastructure. An alumnus of BUET, he joined CDBL in February 2018 and served in the capacity of Chief Technology Officer, DMD and Managing Director & CEO (Current Charge). He has diversified experience in exchange technology, identity management, Passport and Immigration.
Expressing his vision, Mr. Mutaleb said, “I am honored to be appointed as CDBL MD & CEO at this pivotal time and remain committed to driving innovation, efficiency, and transparency in Bangladesh’s capital market.”
