The White Canary Café has opened its third outlet at the head office of City Bank. In association with the United States-based franchise chain Marble Slab Creamery, local franchisee Shanta Multiverse opened their new coffee shop at an inauguration event on bank premises in Gulshan 2 in the capital on Monday.
City Bank Chairman Aziz Al Kaiser, Managing Director Mashrur Arefin, Shanta Multiverse Managing Director Mayesha Khondoker, IFC Consultant Sheahan Nasir Bhuiyan and Shanta Holdings Chief Finance Officer Anisul Haque were present at the inauguration ceremony.
The White Canary Cafe is a third-wave “coffee shop and brunch” franchise that originated in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It prides itself on producing in house freshly baked goods and gourmet coffee using ingredients sourced from around the world.
City Bank customers and staff members will get a 15 percent discount on all food and beverages and a full waiver on service charges on both cash and card transactions at White Canary Café outlet at the bank premise. Besides, City Bank credit & debit card users will get a 15 percent discount on all food and beverages at all outlets of the eatery.
