The importance of laptops in a contemporary workplace is staggering. They are powerful, efficient and portable, capable of outperforming formidable desktops and still be light enough to carry around. However, with increasing demand, the market has become saturated with multiple brands offering various specifications. Even with multiple companies competing for market share, it is increasingly becoming difficult to afford a good quality laptop capable of doing most tasks. Thankfully, Asus has a brand new range of laptops with impressive specifications at an affordable price.
The VivoBook is an affordable all-rounder laptop in the ASUS range; it also offers premium features which were traditionally found on more expensive laptops. At first look, the laptops are aesthetically pleasing. They have been meticulously designed to be compact and lightweight, with their slim-bezel designs helping to reduce overall footprint compared to standard laptops with the same screen size.
VivoBooks are extremely portable, with dimensions that slip easily into a messenger bag or backpack. They also include Ergonomically-designed full-size keyboards. It features a one-piece construction with 1.4mm key travel (1.3mm for VivoBook 14) for comfortable keystrokes. The 5.7mm-thin side bezels provide VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15 with screen-to-body ratios of 87% and 88% respectively. The four-sided frameless NanoEdge design results in ultrathin bezels and an incredibly-high screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. All models can be specified with up to a FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with 178° wide-view technology so it’s perfect when watching with friends or viewing from extreme positions.
