Transcom Group Chairman Latifur Rahman passes away

The chairman and CEO of Transcom Group passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday. He breathed his last at his residence in Cumilla’s Chauddagram Upazila this morning.

He will be buried at Banani Graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Isha prayers today.

The publisher of leading dailies Daily Star and Prothom Alo, Latifur Rahman is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters and a host of admirers.
