Noize Jeans is a sustainable fast-fashion company producing green denim in Bangladesh. The Co-founders, Manish Chauhan and Anurag Chauhan, who hail from India, started as an event management company called Noize Embassy, with the slogan, ‘Let’s Make Some Noize’. Catering to the youth culture made them realise the market potential of fast fashion, and in 2012, they started their company, Noize Jeans in Bangladesh.
FAST AND EFFICIENT
Noize Jeans focuses on sustainable fast fashion. The fast fashion industry is on pace to become one of the fastest retail formats. The market today is in favour of large stores carrying the latest fashion items and offering them at great deals.
In order to stay profitable in this business, a proper supply chain is required. Restocking supplies as soon as shelves and hangers start thinning out has become the priority in logistics solution. Noize Jeans has taken this concept very seriously and have established themselves as one of the most efficient supply chain partners that accurately predicts inventory count and resupplies when required. The speed at which raw materials get processed to the finished garment and gets delivered to the customer has enabled Noize Jeans to minimise cost at every turning point. This has given it the enviable position of being able to offer leading-edge fashion apparel while balancing a critical price-value point.
A significant amount of planning and data processing is involved in ensuring effective supply chain management. For Noize Jeans, the process starts from the sourcing of the raw materials to delivering the finished product. To maintain its high demand, Noize Jeans focuses on the quality of its items in order to create the perception and reality of its value.
FAST GROWTH
Noize Jeans has experienced financial growth consistently in Bangladesh since they began operations in 2012, and again in late 2014 when it started its production units in partnership with Knit Asia (Mr. Martin Chowdhury and Shyan Zubair). The company also measures growth in its technological progress and process implementation. By implementing modern technologies in its production facility, Noize Jeans has become more sustainable in its water consumption, energy usage, and waste discharge.
FAST AND SUSTAINABLE
Noize Jeans has complete control in all stages of production achieved through vertical integration. The company produces its own fabrics, garments, and has their own washing facility. This has allowed it to achieve shorter lead times and higher quality assurance. The machineries involved in the washing process uses state-of-the-art technology that reduces energy and water consumption that not only reduces cost, but also makes the process more efficient. Noize Jeans has a large production capacity in Bangladesh. Per month, it is capable of producing 1.5 million yards of fabric, 1.65 million pieces of washing, and 2.4 million units of garments. This large production capacity has allowed it to have a large portfolio of global fashion retailers as their buyers. Across the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and the USA, Noize Jeans produces for notable names including, Primark, Bershka, Pull & Bear, New Yorker, Matalan, Tendam, True Religion, Celebrity Pink, Ring of Fire, Ringer Jeans, GIII, TKO Evolution, Mamiye Brother, PEPCO, Walmart and Tailor Vintage.
Sustainability is guaranteed by adhering to a set of protocols that ensure that all parties involved in all stages of production are environmentally conscious. The company maximises its use of organic and recycled products, minimises the use of chemicals that are harmful to the environment, and has invested in equipment that consumes 50-70% less water than its competitors. The company is gearing up to achieve zero-waste production in regards to both its carbon footprint and water discharge.
FAST FORWARD
Noize Jeans has its eyes set on the global market for the future. Currently, it is focused on expanding its operations for its sister concern, LoveGen. The future vision is to capture the retail market in India, Middle East, and the USA, and establish LoveGen as the first international brand that originated in India and Bangladesh. The company also aims to revolutionise the fast fashion industry by promoting sustainability efforts and making sustainable fast fashion more accessible to the rest of the world.
