A lot of effort is behind this recognition. We organize a nationwide vehicle fair, through which a large number of new potential customers are generated. It is a regular practice in every year. We also demonstrate new products from door to door to all existing clients to educate them about the new one. For example, newly introduced JAC double cabin pickup is now one of the top three in the market. Prompt after sales services are available throughout the country. There are special benefits for customers, for example, monetary benefits, and foreign trips. Our customers do not wait for products after payment as we deliver from ready stock.

You offer a range of Commercial Vehicles of JAC between 1.35-7 Ton.

Which has been the most popular model in Bangladesh?
Model HFC1020KD which is 1.5-ton pickup is the most popular.

Why do you think JAC commercial vehicles have been so successful in Bangladesh?
Energypac is one of the most reputed organizations in the country. Twelve years back while launching the vehicle the brand image of Energypac helped a lot. Energypac knew the product is best in class and people kept the faith. On the other hand, during that time there was a crying need in the market for a vehicle that has that type of technical specification. Along with contribution in the power segment, Energypac decided to start to contribute to the transport sector according to market demand and launched HFC1020KD 1.5 ton pickup. Before this, a lot of Chinese commercial vehicle launched, but none of them succeeded where Energypac does. Drastically, the product created a vibe in the market because of the loading capacity with the maximum mileage which can run in metropolitan cities 24 hrs. Within a very short period, the product became a prime one and year grab 70% market share in a 1.5-ton commercial pickup range.

For potential buyers, maintenance and availability of spare parts are crucial. How easy is it to maintain and to find spare parts for the vehicle?
The 4DA1 diesel engine is effortless to maintain through any local workshops. Energypac has a nationwide distributor network where spare parts are available. Not only that, as JAC 1.5 ton is the market leader, now small/ retail spare parts business also keeps JAC spares. On the other hand, Energypac provides complimentary free services along with a warranty as per policy. They also offer door to door service with mobile service team.

Not too long ago, the market of commercial vehicles was saturated by Indian companies, what has been the marketing strategy that propelled JAC to its current position?
The choice of product is the main difference. Energypac R & D found that the specification of JAC pickup fulfills the market demand, JAC uses Japanese technology and at that time- Twelve years back to till date Indian vehicles does not have better specification than JAC. Better specs with better mileage make JAC pickup Number One.
